A recent study shows that, on average, a person who attends a performance at the Farmsley Center spends $83 at downtown businesses on the day of the performance. Citing this report, the chairman of the Farmsley Center's Board of Trustees claims that the Farmsley Center has been a significant source of the economic revitalization of downtown Metropolis.
